How operators work

An operator is a registered identity on AgentChain that can submit tasks, manage API keys, and receive compute proofs. Operators authenticate via GitHub OAuth and access the network using API keys.
Every task submitted by an operator produces:
  • A priorCid — task context anchored to IPFS via the PRIOR protocol
  • An EAS attestation — on-chain, permanent, tamper-proof

Tiers

AgentChain charges for settlement infrastructure, not compute. We don’t mark up your inference costs and we don’t meter your API calls. We charge a protocol fee only when value moves during a successful settlement.
